Notes by Eddie:
Just got back from the festival. prodigy played a good show, despite a few technical difficulties with sound (there was a problem with the guitars and rob had to keep leaving the stage,, also, the guitar intro to voodoo was completely missing, and the mic cut out during firestarter, leaving us with the karaoke version!).
they had a whole new stage set, which unfortunatly i have no photos of. lots of towering lights and a new back drop – felt kinda spacey!
forgot to mention the lengthy Action Radar fill after Firestarter. keef had to leave the stage to get his mic fixed, Rob was having his guitars fixed, and so Liam and the drummer (Leo?) played out Action Radar as long as they could. i think they were supposed to play Voodoo next but they couldn’t sort the guitars out in time so maxim and keef came back on and they dropped Unstoppable.
the band looked frustrated by all the technical problems, constantly glancing over and signalling to the sound guys at the side of the stage. liam looked well pissed off. it was a shame cos i felt it took the shine off what was a great performance by the band.

A part of efestivals.co.uk review:
After the little tour we headed back over to watch the Prodigy. There was no problem finding that stage despite the unintuitive program as apparently everyone was heading in that direction. The stage set was like something out of the Matrix, it was amazing. Huge tentacled monsters hung about the place with glowing red sun glasses on and The Prodigy started with a bang. The field was packed and people near the front were getting pretty squashed and pushed about as everyone went crazy to Twisted fire starter. The full energy show ending in a firework display was definitely worth the trip.
