Woaaa just home about a half hour ago! I’m really really hurting this morning honestly! Fucking punishment haha!!
Set list is working really fucking well! We were around 3 rows from the front all the way up till they went off stage breifly before the encore. At that point we were really fucking dehidrated so quickly shimmied over too the first aid bit for some water. Joined back up at a more modest part of the crowd for the encore!
What a night though honestly! Dizzee was fucking great, his new song bonkers was fantastic live, I heard that when I saw him at the ABC a couple months back. The studio version doesn’t really do it justice! After that the DJ just pumped out loads of Noisia till the lads eventually came on stage!
Wow what a fucking stage set up! Fucking loving that shit, the huge rectangular screen is awesome!
Major Highlights for me:
____________________
-Breathe dub
-That awesome poison fill/beat
-The live version of thunder is fantastic
-Warriors dance and No good are in the same ball park, such fantastic dance tracks you know? On both of those tracks I was turning round encouraging people to actually dance? But people were having none of it, lets all just jump!
-Commanche is a great live tune.
-Omen reprise live version is fucking fantastic, leading into the live version of IMD it packs a punch! Loved every minute of it!
-Take me to the hospital on the huge screen! The lads are obviously pushing for this song to become a fan favourite you know! and why not? It’s fucking outstanding! Big rectangular screen with the words comming accross sideways in white TAKE, ME, TO and THE all flash up as the words are said then HOSPITAL roles accross from right to left! Brilliant. On the way out every second person would look at my tshirt and start singing along haha!
Then Out of space came on and I was sad it all had to come to and end. Only dissapointment of the night was that no new tunes were in the set (Like death of the prodigy dancers @ cardiff). I can’t complain at all though!
In conclusion: Great gig, Great crowd! Shit beer! and I have a bruise the size of a dinner plate on my thigh! Oh and I lost my phone about half way through! Either that or some sneaky weege nicked it!
Bumbed that I won’t see them again for god knows how long! But this gig will last in the memory a good while! Hope everyone else enjoys themself on the UK tour as much as I did!

Review by theskinny.co.uk:
Reintroducing the SECC to an inimitable brand of chaos with World’s on Fire, only Liam Howlett could wrap a sample of Jim Morrison around a twisted fairground melody with a straight face. The murky industrial thrash of Their Law makes an early appearance, leaving the crowd panting and critics (hello!) wondering what it is that The Prodigy has to rebel against in 2009. “Just fucking breathe,” snarls MC Maxim, a pointed reminder that there’s no need to over-think what your gut knows is incredible. In line with the times, Howlett dabbles with a dubstep reimagining of Maxim and Keith Flint’s most famous duet before unleashing the full force of Omen. Flint, meanwhile, may have tended to lurk on the periphery of live shows in recent years, but tonight he’s beyond starting fires – commanding every inch of the stage with anthem du jour Take Me to the Hospital. It took an artistic crisis to get here, but it’s a thrill to watch The Prodigy reclaim their mojo
